Boomer was born in Omaha on August 30, 1943. But when was the artist born? The creativeness was certainly with him growing up in North Bend, Nebraska. His talent developed as he studied art at Midland College in Fremont, Nebraska; the University of Nebraska at Lincoln; and the College of Southern Utah.
Others have enjoyed his individual shows at Wesleyan University, Lincoln; Midland College, Fremont; The Gathering Gallery, Omaha; Southern Utah University; the State Bank of Southern Utah, Cedar City; and the Justice Building and the Lake Powell Museum in Page, Arizona.
It was in the desert that his muse revealed itself completely to him. The seclusion of the Southwest took Boomer away for twenty years. Two decades to paint, to create. Twenty years for his art to evolve to his vision today.
Boomer has participated in group shows in the Old Market Gallery in Omaha; the University of Nebraska at Lincoln; the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah; the Lake Powell Spring Show; Watercolor Southwest, Phoenix; the Long Haul, Big Water, Utah; and at the Arizona Watercolor Association's Fall Show.
The millenium, a time of rebirth, of change. What better time to present these images of fantasy and color. Partake, be inspired, simply enjoy.
Artist of the next century and beyond..!
